BRIANNA DAVID, LMSW

Clinician

With a rich multicultural background shaped by living across Asia, the Americas, and Europe, Brianna “Bri” David brings a culturally-focused and client-centered approach to her work with children, youth, and adults. Bri’s global perspective allows her to collaborate with clients in exploring how intersecting cultural, social, and environmental contexts shape their identity, relationships, and mental health, while fostering a more integrated and authentic sense of self.

Utilizing the principles of Positive Psychology and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Bri guides clients in nurturing meaning and acceptance, intentional joy, and balance within their lives. She is passionate about empowering her clients to thrive—not just manage—by helping to cultivate tangible skills that support emotional regulation, identity exploration, cultural adjustment, healthy relationships, and personal growth. She brings warmth, validation, and an unwavering belief that all clients have the capacity for healing and growth within themselves.

Bri holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, and a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University. While working with children and families in both the Bronx child welfare system and at the Mount Sinai Child and Family Institute, she has received training in individual and group-based Cognitive Behavior Therapy,  Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.

In addition to clinical work, Bri has experience providing public health education to youth and the student body of Columbia University, and is a proud advocate for animal welfare.
