Emily received a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Human Ecology from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from Columbia University, specializing in Children and Families. Emily has gained valuable experience working in hospitals, non-profit organizations, and private practices with children, adolescents, and adults.
Emily's empathetic nature and personalized approach creates a validating and supportive environment for her clients. She is dedicated to working with individuals who face challenges related to life transitions, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, and depression. Emily strongly believes in setting personalized goals tailored to each individual's unique needs. Emily’s therapeutic approach integrates knowledge from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), allowing her to provide effective support and tangible skills to her clients.
